Extracurricular Activities
ZISPP offers various extra-curricular activities throughout the school year for our students to participate in! Here are just a few examples of the activities that have been offered at ZISPP:
Chinese
At ZISPP we recognize the importance of learning the Chinese language. Learning Chinese utilizes areas of the brain that other languages do not and benefits our students’ personal and professional growth. Our students take pride in their Chinese studies. At home or in the classroom students can utilize digital devices to learn to write Chinese numbers. The Chinese numbers are renowned for being simple and logical.
Computer Science (ICT) - Waterford & TechnoKids
ZISPP believes that teaching students practical computer skills, will help set our students up for success. Introducing instructional technology in the classroom at a young age will help prepare students for future digital demands.
Our Preschool through Grade 2 students use Waterford.org to learn science, math, and English. Waterford combines the science of learning, the power of mentoring, and the promise of technology to prepare all students for lifelong academic achievement.
Physical Education
At ZISPP we understand the importance of sports and physical fitness. Our comprehensive distance learning program includes daily P.E. lessons for all students. Our students rotate through Taekwondo, Swimming, Soccer and gym activities each month where we promote strength, coordination, and fitness while teaching students the importance of teamwork.
